Can’t open the site, but our servers can?

When the server-side check says the website is up but your browser still can’t reach it, the problem is usually local. Try these, in order:

1. Force a full refresh

Reload the page with the cache bypassed: Ctrl+F5 (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (macOS). A stale cached error page can look like an outage.

2. Clear the site’s cache and cookies

Ask your browser to delete the cached files and cookies for that one site (site settings in the address bar), then try again. Corrupt local data is a surprisingly common cause of “it’s down for me”.

3. Flush your DNS cache

Your device or router may be holding an expired address for the domain. On Windows open a terminal and run ipconfig /flushdns; on macOS sudo dscacheutil -flushcache. Or switch to a public DNS such as 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and test again.

4. Check VPN, firewall and antivirus

A VPN route, a corporate firewall, or an aggressive antivirus can silently drop connections to specific sites. Disable the VPN, try another network (for example your phone’s mobile data), and see if the site opens.

If it opens on another network, the outage is on your side of the connection; if it fails everywhere but our servers can still reach it, the site may be blocking your region or network — nothing is broken on your device.
